Hey Riders, it's Guido. Well if you didn't make the Idyllwild ride you missed a good one. 11 bikes and 17 riders with our chase vehicle manned by Dennis head out Saturday. The weather quickly cleared and the ride up the mountain was great. The weather cooperated and was absolutely fantastic! What a blessed day to be on a motorcycle; not to hot and not to cold. We all arrived safely around noon and hit the local restaurants. After lunch, it was a race to the local cinnamon roll factory. Mike and Traci had the lead, but forgot how to get there and returned to the restaurant for directions. Kathy knocked down Dave and Maryanne and arrived first but realized she didn't have any money because her husband, Guido the dumb biker dude, was in another part of town trying on purple mad bomber winter hats. Fortunately Pastor Dave had enough money in his wallet to cover the cost, so Kathy would not have to stay behind and wash dishes.
It was a good thing one of our leadership dudes Frank, was on hand with our road guards Steve, Andrew, Ed and Jim. He was in the middle of giving a lecture on the "relationship between the biker and food", while all of this was going on.
After we were "shopped out" we all mounted up and head back to Vista via the 371 through Anza and then Hwy. 79. Eveyone arrived home safely after riding nearly 200 miles. God is good! We are so blessed to share our love of God and our love of motorcycles. Thanks to everyone who made the ride. We are so blessed to have you guys and gals as part of our fellowship. On behalf of the leadership and road guards, we hope hope you and your families have a blessed week! Wanna get in on the fun? Check out our web and blog site for the latest ride information. God bless all of you!
