Hey Riders! It's Guido with an additional riding opportunity. Several of us are going to participate in "West Coast Thunder XII", the Memorial Day bike run, being held on Monday May 30th, 2011. If you pre-register prior to May 13th, the cost is $35.00 for each driver and $25.00 for each passenger. After May 13th the cost is $40.00 for each driver and $40.00 for each passenger. All of us are "pre-registered", so if you want to ride with our group, you will need to pre-register.
The reason for this is that they "pre-stage" motorcycles. Riders who pre-registered, get priority staging. If you are interested, go to the "Skip Fordyce" website and click on the "Events" tab". This will take you to the main page for West Coast Thunder XII. From there "click" on registration and follow the simple "online" instructions. All of the information concerning the event is posted.
Mike Andrews, one of our leadership dudes, has gone on this ride for years. Last year me and Pete (another leadership dude), had the opportunity to attend. All I can say is "wow". Words can't describe how this event touched my heart! Come and honor those who have paid the "ultimate price", so that we can live free!

Hey Guido, (aka DBD) it was a WILD ride to be sure, but thanks to great leadership and a great sweep, we made it through the Pass and safely home. But did I forget to mention the strange cloud that was over the group after lunch? It was something to behold so I made sure to keep the windows up!
