Hey riders, it's Guido again. Have you seen the "Big Bear"? If you haven't, we are going to ride to meet him next month. That's right, it's time for our annual "Big Bear" ride. I don't know about you, but I can't believe it's been a year already!
For those of you who have made this ride before, you know what your in for. For those that haven't, let me wet your appetite with a few details. We take a long ride to Big Bear, where we stop at Pastor Sam's beautiful mountain home and have a feed that would make a bear wake up from his winter nap and take notice.
This is our premier and most well attended ride of the year, so don't miss this opportunity. Sign ups will begin at Calvary Chapel Vista on August 6th, in the courtyard, after both services. The motorcycle fellowship will have a booth manned by our leadership dudes. The cost is $5 per person. (That's "bearly" anything)!
If you do not attend Calvary Chapel Vista, please RSVP to Pastor Dave no later than August 10. We need a head count for the purpose of buying food and drink. Pastor Dave will collect your cash on the day of the ride, August 20th.
This is a very long ride, so if you are not used to riding long distance, now would be the time to dust off the bike and start riding. We will be making a couple of short stops along the way for fuel and leg stretchin. We hope you can join us for this ride. Believe me, you won't want to miss this one!
