CALVARY CHAPEL MOTORCYCLE FELLOWSHIP
STATEMENT OF POLICY CHANGE
GROUP RIDING
In order to enhance and diversify our riding opportunities the Calvary Chapel Motorcycle Fellowship Leadership Team has made the following changes to it’s riding policy. These changes will be effective November 1, 2012.
The ride will officially end upon arrival at our destination. Riders who choose to stay longer at our destination, continue to ride to another destination, or go home via another route may do so. This change also applies to our Road Guards as well. Those who choose to ride home with leadership personnel may do so, but our road guards will not be acting in an official capacity. Naturally, if you choose to ride home with us, we will still provide emergency services, such as first aid or help you in the event of a mechanical break down. The same services we expect any rider would provide to any biker on the road, who is need of help.
In order to diversify our ride destinations, we will have some rides which will involve riding on the freeway. We have reached this conclusion in order to reach destinations we have not been able to get to in the past via back roads and highways. Previously we have tried to avoid freeway driving as much as possible, but we realize that we need to expand our rides to different areas that may only be reached by freeway driving. Rides that involve freeway driving will be announced in the ride email that is sent to the general ridership, prior to our scheduled monthly rides. It is up to you, the rider, to decide if the ride is beyond your skill level and make the appropriate decision for yourself and your passenger.
We hope that these changes will enhance your riding experience with us. We realize that our riders are hard working and have other commitments, so if you can only ride with us to our destination, that leaves the rest of the day for you to attend to other matters. Our goal is to make our rides more enjoyable by changing up our ride destinations and giving our riders the ability to “customize” their riding experience when riding with the Calvary Chapel Motorcycle Fellowship.
