MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY - HELP NEEDED!

Hey riders! It's Pastor Dave.   Hey, we have a ministry opportunity coming up and we sure could use your help.  Some of you may already be aware of our need, but for those of you who don't, let me give you some background information.

Calvary Vista is opening a new campus in the Shadow Ridge area of Vista.  We plan on holding our first service on September 7th, 2014, at 10:00 am.  In order to facilitate the opening of a new campus, several volunteers are needed to assist in the various ministries.  We are asking for a six month commitment; the time we anticipate it will take for the new campus to get up and running with it's own ministry support team.

The Calvary Chapel Vista Motorcycle Fellowship, as part of our commitment to serving The Lord, has volunteered to operate the parking lot ministry during this time.  Our leadership dudes and road guards recently participated in a "dry run" walk-thru of the operational aspect of our ministry assignment, and will serve as your guides, in case there are any questions from those who wish to participate.  As a result of our walk-thru, we have determined that we will need a minimum of three individuals per week, for a six month period of time.

The more people we can get the better and we can use everyone willing to participate.  Guy's, gals and couples are more than welcome!  If you have been looking for an opportunity to serve, here is your chance to dive in and make a difference.   Remember that the parking lot folks are the ones the congregation see's first and we all know that a good "first impression" is essential to the successful launching of a new campus.

For those of you on the shy side, don't worry.  We will teach you all you need to know.  Our ministry coordinator for the duration of our service is our own Mike Andrews, one of our leadership dudes.  For those of you who wish to volunteer, please send me you name, phone number you can best be reached at and your email address.  Once we establish how many of you will be able to help out, a list will be established and forwarded to Mike, so that he can make a schedule.  Once the schedule is made, we will send out a second email with instructions, including what to do if you can't make your commitment for the week.

We know that we are asking a lot, but our ridership has never failed to "step up" when a need has arisen.  I am personally grateful for your help and may God bless our efforts as He does something amazing in the Shadow Ridge community!

Yours in Jesus Christ,

Pastor Dave Hommel
