Hey riders! Hope you having a blessed week! We are riding this Saturday and wanted to send out a "ride reminder" to our fellowship. We would love to have you join us and hope to see you there.
Saturday, September 27, 2014 - Ride To Julian
We will be heading to the quaint town of Julian, located in the mountains of San Diego County. There are several great places to eat and shop in the downtown area. Once we arrive, you will be free to roam the old mining town and enjoy the sights. For those of you who wish to ride home with us, we will have a pre-determined meeting location and time of departure. The route will include riding through winding mountain roads, so it may present a challenge for less experienced riders. We expect everyone to be a "safety officer", so please use sound judgment, when evaluating your ability to attend this ride.
On ride day, please meet at our Vale Terrace staging location, located at 956 Vale Terrace, in Vista. We will meet at 8:30 am, have a pre-ride briefing at 8:45 am and be on the road PROMPTLY by 9:00 am. Come gassed up and be ready to ride. Please note that per our riding and safety policies, if you have "bald" tires and are not properly dressed for the ride
i.e. (no shorts, tennis shoes, DOT approved helmet), then you will not be allowed to participate. Due to liability concerns, these rules are NON-NEGOTIABLE and will be strictly enforced by our road guards. The weather in Julian for Saturday, calls for a high of 82 degrees and a low of 59 degrees. It will probably start out on the cool side, so you may want to "layer" for the ride.
God bless!
