Hey riders!
It's Pastor Dave with our March ride schedule. Daylight Savings Time is just around the corner and we will be starting our two ride format this month. We hope you can join us and hope to see you there for both rides!
Sunday, March 8, 2015 - I Can't Believe It's Daylight Savings Time Ride
Meet at our staging location, 956 Vale Terrace at 2:00 pm. We will have a short ride briefing at 2:15 pm, followed by "kick stands up" and on the road by 2:30 pm. We will be riding through the back roads of North San Diego County, then end up at a yogurt shop in Fallbrook for a snack and some Fellowship. This ride is suitable for all ride levels. Come gassed up and ready to ride!
Please note that per our riding and safety policies, if you have "bald" tires and are not properly dressed for the ride i.e. (no shorts, tennis shoes, DOT approved helmet), then you will not be allowed to participate. Due to liability concerns, these rules are NON-NEGOTIABLE and will be strictly enforced by our road guards.
Saturday, March 28, 2015 - Shields Date Farm
We recently had a ride to Shields Date Farm, via Salton Sea, but we have a reason for doing this ride again so soon. Shields has a "Walk Through The Bible" tour that you can do, that is self paced and is located behind the outdoor restaurant that we usually patronize when we ride to this location. The tickets are only $5 per person and we are pretty sure that if you spend a total of $25 at the restaurant or gift shop, that the tickets are free. Check out the link here! In anticipation of the coming Easter season, we thought this would be a great activity for our motorcycle fellowship to participate in.
In order to accommodate this activity, we will be taking a different route, which is shorter, but just as fun.
We'll head out the 79 to the 371 and ride through Anza. From there, we'll head down the mountain to Palm Desert. We'll take the same route home. This will be a great day of spending some time with The Lord, riding motorcycles and fellowship with each other. This ride is medium distance and suitable for all ride levels Temperature will vary throughout the ride, so be prepared for war and cold weather. Layering is recommended!
Hope to see you for both rides!
God Bless,
Pastor Dave
