Safety Message For Our Barrett Junction Ride

Hey riders! It's Guido the dumb biker dude with some important information if you are riding with us to Barrett Junction this Saturday, February 25, 2012.

First, the long range forecast indicates the temperature will range between 57-68 degrees on ride day. That forecast is for the mountains and surrounding areas. In the morning it will still be cold, especially when we ride accross the mountain areas. Please dress accordingly. Pay particular attention to those hands and wear proper gloves, as "cold hands" can make for an unpleasant ride!

Also, last week, the mountain areas received various amounts of snow. Snow melt may be encountered along a portion of our route, so make sure those tires are in good shape!

This is a 230 mile ride, which makes for a long day. We have scheduled fuel and rest stops, so that our inexperienced riders can stretch their legs for a few minutes before we ride on. Remember that our rides are always structured so that our inexperienced riders can have a safe and enjoyable ride, so be patient and let's have a great day of riding and fellowship!

See you on ride day!
